About Beltra Gold Mining & Exploration

A junior mining exploration company rooted in a legacy of prospecting, bringing high-potential properties to US-based investors.

Company Overview

Beltra Gold Mining & Exploration is a junior mining exploration company headquartered in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Founded by Jose Beltran, the company is built on a multi-generational legacy of mineral exploration in Mexico. Jose's father dedicated his life to prospecting and concession acquisition across Mexico's most productive mining regions, a discipline he himself learned from the men who raised him — experienced miners and geologists who practiced traditional Spanish exploration methods in an era when geological intuition, physical endurance, and human trust were the only tools available. That accumulated knowledge, along with a vast network of concessions, community relationships, and regional expertise, has been passed down through the family and forms the operational foundation of Beltra Gold today.

The company's history dates to 2009–2010, when the team negotiated and completed the sale of their first project in Jalisco, Mexico — a Kuroko-style load. That foundational transaction established the company's model: identify, secure, explore, and bring high-potential mineral properties to market for US-based investors.

Today, Beltra Gold continues to build on that legacy. Roy Beltran serves as Head of Operations and Investor Relations, guiding the company's growth and managing relationships with investors and partners as the team expands its portfolio of exploration properties across Latin America.

Jose Beltran - Founder and CEO

Founder & CEO

Jose Beltran is the founder and driving force behind Beltra Gold Mining & Exploration. He personally leads the company's exploration connections, oversees the geologist team, and directs all exploration operations across Mexico and Latin America. His hands-on approach to every stage of the business — from identifying prospective concessions to negotiating rights with landowners and government authorities — is what sets Beltra Gold apart from other junior mining companies.

Jose's expertise is rooted in a lifetime of direct involvement in Mexico's mining regions. He was raised in a family where mineral exploration was not a career choice but a way of life — where traditional methods such as dowsing and field-based geological assessment were passed down alongside modern prospecting techniques. The relationships his father cultivated over decades with communities, concession holders, and local authorities now serve as Beltra Gold's most strategic asset. These connections, built on generations of trust and shared history, cannot be replicated by competitors entering the region without that established foundation.

As CEO, Jose is focused on one objective: creating real, measurable value for Beltra Gold's investors. He leads the vetting and selection of every property the company pursues, coordinates directly with the geological team to ensure technical rigor, and personally manages the relationships that enable Beltra Gold to secure high-potential concessions before they reach the open market. His ability to move between the boardroom and the field — negotiating terms in both English and Spanish, reading geological data alongside his master geologists, and maintaining the trust of local stakeholders — is the company's most valuable asset.

What Makes Us Different

Our culture, background, and real-world on-the-ground connections give us an edge over other junior mining companies operating in Mexico and Latin America.

Generational Expertise

Beltra Gold's expertise spans multiple generations of mineral exploration in Mexico. The knowledge began with Jose Beltran's father and the men who mentored him — experienced miners who relied on traditional Spanish geological methods, direct observation, and an intimate understanding of the terrain. That discipline has been refined with modern techniques, but the foundational instinct for identifying mineralization and the regional knowledge it produced remain irreplaceable.

Unmatched Connections

We maintain unique connections and relationships with mining concessions — both explored and unexplored — across Mexico and Latin America. These relationships give us access to properties and opportunities that other junior mining companies simply cannot reach.

Experienced Geologist Team

Our geological team includes two seasoned career master geologists — one based in Texas and one in Guerrero, Mexico — as well as two junior geologists with master's degrees who work under the supervision of our Mexico-based master geologist. This team provides the technical rigor behind every property we evaluate.

Proven Track Record

Since our first completed project sale in Jalisco, Mexico in 2009–2010 — a Kuroko-style load — we have continued to build a track record of identifying and advancing high-potential mining properties through exploration and into monetization.

On-the-Ground Presence

We are not a desk-bound operation. Our team maintains a direct, physical presence in the regions where we explore, building trust with local stakeholders, concession holders, and government authorities that is essential to doing business in this sector.

Central America

Our network extends into Central America, where we continue to identify and evaluate potential properties with the same rigorous approach we apply across all of our target regions.

Why Now

Two macro forces — record precious metal pricing and a fundamentally changed security landscape — have converged to create the most favorable conditions for Latin American mineral exploration in a generation.

The Precious Metals Surge

Gold has broken through $2,900 per ounce. Silver has surpassed $32 per ounce. These are not temporary spikes — they reflect sustained global demand driven by central bank accumulation, geopolitical uncertainty, de-dollarization trends, and persistent inflation hedging by institutional investors. For exploration-stage companies, this pricing environment transforms the economics of every concession in the pipeline. Properties our family identified decades ago that were not viable at $1,200 gold are now potentially worth multiples of their original assessed value. Beltra Gold's existing access to these concessions means we can move on opportunities that would take new entrants years to even identify.

A Transformed Security Environment

The operating environment across Mexico and Latin America has changed materially. Coordinated efforts between US and local governments — including direct military operations, expanded law enforcement presence, and cross-border cooperation — have restored security in mining regions that were effectively off-limits for years. In Mexico specifically, federal and state police action has reclaimed territory and reestablished government authority in areas with significant mineral potential. These are not temporary measures; the political will and institutional infrastructure behind them suggest the security improvements will continue. For Beltra Gold, this means concessions and relationships that were maintained through difficult periods are now fully operational and ready for active exploration.

Our Network Is Pushing Deals Forward

This is not a situation where Beltra Gold is reacting to market conditions. Our concession holders, landowners, and local government contacts are the ones initiating conversations. They see the same gold and silver prices we do. They see the improved security in their own communities. And they are reaching out to the people they trust — the family and team they have worked with for decades — to move forward on partnerships and concession agreements that have been waiting for exactly this moment. The groundwork of a lifetime is being activated, and the window to participate is now.
